National Offshore One Design Regattas (also known as NOOD) have released their schedule for next year. This is its 28th consecutive year after starting in the year 1988. This is the most popular or the longest running sailboat running series in the Northern America.

Over seven-hundred yachts as well as thousands of sailors took part in the National Offshore One Design 2015 season. Sailors in racing yachts – both large and small – took to the waters around United States to contend in the 5-stop racing series for a scope to win a spot at the championship in British Virgin Islands back in October. One group came straight from having rented a yacht Greek Islands!

The sponsors for next year’s meets include North Sails, Helly Hansen, Mount Gay Rum, Sunsail and West Marine.
