During a sailing weekend on the Solent back in May 1988, ‘Velsheda’ was out sailing and, my word, watching it was on a par with seeing the Grand Canyon

Guys, after some searching I found the name of the artist of the song. It is Engels espiritos with of course voodoo chile!
Let’s anchor this thing and open up a barrel o wine.

Awesome! Like the track as well! My Uncle (Prescott Wilson) was the guy who made the original sails for the J boats back in the day – and the first sailmaker to use Dupont Dacron (not cotton). (He also designed the marconi rig on the Star Class). It has been a long time dream of mine to sail on one! Glad to see there are some rebuilt or restored! Thanks for posting this! (Who is the track BTW?). AWESOME!
So, this is still one bitch of a yatch, i would kill to sail on her.
this is not the original, it is the rebuild, launched in 2004 I think
WAIT A MINUTE RANGER WAS SCRAPED IN THE 40.S ALONG WITH RAINBOW ??
Awesome!! I was on the water that day in a 26′ Ablemarle and we got the crap beat out of us.. Well worth it to see these beauties!
